that we are predominant cotton yarns manufacturers based in India. We
have created our own wonderful universe of yarns from where you can
purchase exclusive count range of 100% cotton karded yarn.
We offer you strong and long continuous length of cotton yarns which helps you
to create eye catchy textiles and designer fabrics.
We are also an importer
of raw cotton, procured mainly from established suppliers based in many
parts of the world Cotton (Gossypium Hirsutum) is a natural fiber of
great economic importance as a raw material for the textile industry.
The word cotton is derived from the Arabic word ‘ Qutn’ which was often
used by the Arab traders. Archaelogistics have found that in Egypt
cotton was used to make textile fabrics at least 7000 years ago.
Successful cultivation of cotton requires a long growing season, plenty
of water and sunshine, with dry weather for the harvest. In general
these conditions are met in warm sub-tropical latitudes in the northern
and southern hemisphere.
A key element of
our sourcing strategy is to secure cotton from these geographical areas
at producer level in all over the world. Intially, the company imported
raw cotton from various in Africa, Myanmar, Iran & USA. The Company
also sources cotton from a Government Agency with whom we share an
excellent understanding & whose informed decisions & advices
helps us to manage risks and inventory costs in a volatile environment.
Alagendra textiles
Limited was incorporated in the year 1997 and has registered office in
Madurai and factory at Theni. The company has been working profitably
since inception with its team of dedicated staff whose striving efforts
has placed the company on the top. The
principal activity of the company is to manufacture cotton yarns including hank & cone of
20s, 30s and 40s single and double 100 % cotton ring spun yarn.
The Company aims to increase its global market presence by diversifying
into value added areas of superfine carded yarns. Expansion in capacity
is in progress.
Infrastructure
The Company is well
equipped with sophisticated testing laboratory to continuously monitor
both the raw material consumed and the cotton yarns produced. Our team of
inspection professionals investigate the work going around while the
production is on the process. We have well maintained production plants
to deliver best trading practice in India as well as foreign countries.
We use
contamination free superior quality cotton for producing the best cotton yarns.
We successfully produce super deluxe quality yarn with rich CSP with
the help of our team of workers, comprising of experienced &
skilled hands and who are well aware of their area of responsibility.
